Job Responsibilities:

General Description:

Under the Director of the Vice-President, Human Capital, the Recruiter is responsible for supporting PHNTX staffing requirements. As such, the position is responsible for conducting full cycle recruitment activities to attract hourly and salaried applicants for clinical and non-clinical positions within a healthcare work environment.  Must be able to fully understand the requirements of each department and the skills required for each position.   

Specific Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to create impactful advertising and sourcing strategies driving engagement across social media and on the PHNTX Career Website
  • Responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies to prioritize hiring plans to meet business needs and plans.
  • Understand, demonstrate and represent PHNTX values and mission when discussing employment opportunities with candidates.
  • Responsible for correctly posting employment opportunities on PHNTX Career Page, ensuring timely contact and communications with candidates during the hiring process, including closing out postings in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration with management team to understand critical roles within the organization.
  • Manages the recruitment experience so that candidates have a positive impression of the organization.
  • Attends industry events, Career Fairs and community networking events as required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of background checks and drug screening as well as laws and regulations pertaining to pre-employment processing.
  • Will manage company job postings and contact with external vendor.
  • Will be responsible for providing periodic reports and updates on hiring activity and results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive issues
  • Project Management skills is a plus
  • Proficiency with computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in Talent Acquisition with at least three years in healthcare or the medical field is preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Prefer candidates who can leverage different social media platforms to connect with potential applicants.
  • Proven ability in building relationships
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent hiring priorities with different stakeholders at different stages of the recruiting lifecycle, without impacting quality and deadlines.
